SAT Program

Our SAT program lays down the fundamentals with old SAT questions, then gives the students the ability to adapt to the new exam. Our program blends the Old SAT, the New SAT, and different techniques, in order to help students obtain a versatile skill set when taking the exam. Our SAT program consists of three different levels:

Advanced Program [Score: 1400 and higher]

Students in this program will:

  • Pinpoint lacking types of passages

  • Pinpoint lacking types of questions

  • Go through our advanced vocabulary list

  • Touch upon lacking math topics

  • Brush up on grammatical errors/questions

  • Take as many practice tests as possible to build endurance, minimize errors, and boost confidence

Intermediate Program [Score: 1100 to 1390]

Students in this program will:

  • relearn types of reading comprehension passages

  • relearn types of reading comprehension questions

  • relearn grammatical errors/questions

  • go through our vocabulary list(s)

  • relearn all the math topics

  • Take a decent amount of practice tests to build endurance, minimize errors, and boost confidence

Enriched Program [Score: Up to 1100]

Students in this program will:

  • learn the basics of reading comprehension, grammar, and math

  • go through (in detail) each type of passage/question

  • go through our beginner vocabulary list

  • go through all the topics/questions in math

  • get introduced to techniques on how to read questions, solve questions, and manage time

  • get introduced to practice tests to build endurance, and become acquainted with the exam, itself

Tutoring Program [Any score]

If the student works better outside of a classroom environment. We offer a separate tutoring program.

​

We sit one-on-one with your student and breakdown all of his/her lacking topics while only focusing on those types of questions.

​

This program aims to patch up any lacking aspects of your student's SAT abilities while reinforcing their strengths.

ACT Program

Since the ACT is an exam, in which a battle with time plays a major factor, our program also puts a lot of emphasis on the time aspect. Our ACT program also focuses on the four individual sections (English, Mathematics, Reading, Science) before putting them together and taking full practice tests. Our program focuses on practicing each section, in detail, first. Then, we move onto having the students go through many practice tests, in order to build endurance, and finish in a timely manner. Our program consists of:

  • Learning the basics and solving practice questions of the English Section

  • Learning the different topics and equations for the Math Section

  • Learning the different passage and question types of the Reading Section

  • Learning the different subjects for the Science Section

  • Learning the different tips and practicing different prompts for the Essay section

  • Practice tests to build endurance and have the students beat the time limit

Our JSAT Program

This program will consist of middle school students, who are just beginning to get a taste of the standardized tests. Middle school students who want to take the SATs for the CTY program at Johns Hopkins University, should consider this course. It is never too early to start preparing anymore.

This program will be similar to that of Enriched SAT program. We will go through:

  • the fundamentals of reading comprehension, grammar, and mathematics

  • the beginner vocabulary list & learn to retain them

  • practice tests to build endurance and to become acquainted with the exam

Our ISEE Program

This program will consist of any students who need to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). This exam is an important aspect of your child's chance of getting accepted into one of the prestigious private schools. This program will consist of:

  • learning and practicing Reading comprehension

  • going through our ISEE vocabulary list

  • learning and practicing math problems

  • learning how to write an effective essay for the exam
