Spring Semester Program

Our spring semester program focuses on keeping the students competitive and working hard throughout the rigorous second semester of the school year. We place great emphasis and importance on having the students finish out the year on a strong note while maintaining strong GPAs, while receiving high scores on the Advanced Placement (AP) exams and specialized exams. As important as it was for students to have started off the year on the right foot, it's just as important to end with strong grades to be rewarded for all your hard work throughout the school year.

Advanced Placement (AP) Exams

We stress the importance of doing well on AP exams because, scoring a 4 or 5 on these exams may earn you credits, place you out of introductory classes, and/or fulfill your general education requirement courses when you go to college. Ultimately, it will save time and cost of tuition for your student in college. So, in order to help students do well, our academy focuses on preparing the students for their AP exams.

  • During February - March, our teachers review all previous topics and finish teaching the courses.

    • The teachers review each topic and follow them up with supplemental questions

    • The teachers focus more on topics that the students have trouble learning

    • The teachers cater to the needs of the students by providing more time and supplemental questions for lacking topics

  • During April, students are given practice AP exams, in order to train them for endurance and to get them accustomed to the exam they will be taking in May.

  • During AP Exam weeks during May, teachers go over any last minute questions before the actual date of the students' exams.

Specialized Exams

For most high school students, May and June are the months in which they schedule to sit for the specialized exams (SAT & ACT). For this reason, we emphasize our SAT and ACT programs alongside the AP exams.

As one of the main strengths of our available programs, our SAT program caters to how your child learns and processes information. Our program consists of different levels so that your student may learn at his or her own pace. Similarly, our teachers and advisors will be able to indicate your child's strengths and weaknesses, while determining how long your student will take before sitting for his or her first exam. For more information, please visit the "Specialized Exams" tab.

For ACTs, we take a different approach. We instruct your child in all four sections of the exam, while focusing on the important aspects of each section. In addition, we also instruct your child for the optional essay section. Our teachers and advisors will determine your child's weaknesses, while maintaining his or her strengths. Not only will your child hone his or her skills for the ACTs, but will also come out stronger for all the subjects included in the ACT. For more information, please visit the "Specialized Exams" tab.
